COMPOSITION:

Each bottle (15 ml) (1 ml approximately 25 drops) contains:

Vitamin D₃ (as Cholecalciferol) – 50 000 IU

Vitamin D₃ (as Cholecalciferol) is needed by the organism to absorb and use calcium in an efficient way to build and maintain bones and teeth. Vitamin D₃ is called the sunshine vitamin because it might be synthesized in our skin when it is exposed to sufficient sunlight. Vitamin D₃ that is obtained from food sources works euqally good to support bones and teeth health. For infants who are usually voluntarily kept away from direct sun exposure, the only way to supply them with enough vitamin D is through breast or formula milk. Adding a vitamin D₃ supplement to their diet might be useful to be sure that proper amounts of vitamin D are supporting healthy bones and teeth formation.

INDICATIONS:

• Treatment of vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency
• For treatment and prophylaxis of Vitamin D deficiency due to malabsorption in digestive tract
• Treatment of osteomalacia due to vitamin D deficiency
• As adjunct to calcium and drugs for osteoporosis in the preventive treatment of osteoporosis
• Preventive treatment in patients with increased risk for osteoporotic fractures (in elderly and those receiving glucocorticoid treatment) in conjunction with calcium
• Secondary hyperparathyroidism (high level of parahyroide hormone in the blood).

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:

Shake before use.

Children aged 1,5 – 4 years 2 – 3 drop per day

Children aged 4 – 14 years 3 – 4 drop per day

Children over 14 years old and adults 6 drop per day.
