Omega – 3 fats improve the function of blood vessels by lowering triglyceride (blood fat) levels, minimize inflammation and clotting, and increase “good” cholesterol levels.
Lutein nicknamed “the eye vitamin” is a type of carotenoid antioxidant that is most well-known for protecting eye health. Lutein improves mood, memory, strengthens the body’s resistance, increases and strengthens the lungs and respiratory passages.
Vitamin E (as dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) is an important vitamin required for the proper function of many organs in the body. It is also an antioxidant.
Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) is a nutrient your body needs to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscle and collagen in bones. Vitamin C is also vital to your body’s healing process. Vitamin C enhances the absorption of dietary iron.
Vitamin B1 (as Thiamine) plays an essential role in metabolism by helping convert nutrients into energy.
Vitamin B2 (as Riboflavin) helps convert food into energy and also acts as an antioxidant.
Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) is involved in amino acid metabolism, red blood cell production, and the creation of neurotransmitters.
Vitamin B7 (as Biotin) is essential for carbohydrate and fat metabolism and regulates gene expression.
Vitamin B9 (as Folic acid) is needed for cell growth, amino acid metabolism, the formation of red and white blood cells, and proper cell division.
Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) Perhaps the most well-known of all the B vitamins, B12 is vital for neurological function, DNA production, and red blood cell development.
Zinc (as Zinc oxide) is a mineral that’s essential for good health. It’s required for the functions of over 300 enzymes and involved in many important processes in the body. It metabolizes nutrients, maintains immune system and grows and repairs body tissues.
Selenium (as Sodium Selenite) is an essential mineral which can be obtained through the diet. It may help keep the heart healthy by keeping oxidative stress in check and reducing the risk of coronary artery disease.
Iodine (as Potassium iodide) is important for a baby’s brain development. An adequate supply of iodine is needed during pregnancy and shortly after birth for the physical motor skills and mental development of the baby.
Potassium (as Potassium citrate) is used to treat a kidney stone condition called renal tubular acidosis. It is also used to prevent kidney stones that may occur with gout. Potassium citrate is a urinary alkalinizer. It works by making the urine more alkaline (less acid)
